Ljudia dagen närmar sig (9:e Maj) och vi vill bara kolla om det finns intresse ute i scratch Sverige att delta i ett litet DJ battle under denna dag.

Just a heads up for those who want to get more of the streaming backlog of DjBattle TV. We are now up to episode 11 here on the site and on our Vimeo page. Enjoy!
To lazy to click the links? here's Episode 8:
In the upcomming weeks we will be transfering all old Djbattle TV episodes to Vimeo for more easy access and direct streaming. Due to Vimeo's 500mb/week upload limit I can only upload 2 or 3 episodes per week, so it will take some time before all episodes are online.
Episode 1-7 are online right now, you can stream them under respective episode in our DJB TV Section or on our vimeo page. After all episodes are on Vimeo we will remove them for our own servers. You can still download the original files from Vimeo if you are a member there (It's free).
Now lets take a trip down memory lane to may of 2005, and our first episode:
Well here's a cool little newsworthy info for all "scratch-nerd-gamers".
Game publisher Capcom is releasing "Street Fighter II HD Remix" on the Playstation Network and Xbox live arcade.
But to promote this Capcom is also releasing a couple of street fighter themed tracks made by a bunch if different arists, including DJ Qbert.
These tracks will be released on the Playstation Network for free, but you can preview them on Capcom SSIIHD mysapce page.
As a gamer, I just have to say AWESOME!
No, DJBattle.net has not gone politic. However, DJ Z-trip just announced his fundraising campaign mix for Obama, "The Party for Change", and Z-trip is a bloody good DJ...
...so there you go. Decide for yourself if you want to download it or not. It's free and available as a 85MB mp3 file from Z-trips website http://djztrip.com/downloads.html
And if you didn't know, he has tons of other mixes for free there too.
Well, besides all of you members that have been keeping the interactive part of the site going (Forum, gallery and so on) the site has been running a bit dry lately which I'm probably the one to blame for... but anyway that's not the point of this post.
Today on the 10th of September, Djbattle.net (and it's previous versions, djbattle.cjb.net, come.to/djbattle anyone?) is turning 10 years!
Even I didn't se that comming when I took my first nervous steps in a crappy program called "Frontpage" all those years ago!
On a day like this I wish I had more time (and motivation) to keep the site going like in the good ol' days... I don't think that will happen though, unfortunately.
Well, not that I think anyone here would find this useful, it's still pretty... umm... strange (if it's real). With some help from a video camera and the Traktor Scratch software DJ MoCAP can draw his own dj interface on a piece if paper.
Check put the video after the jump.
Read more...The 4 Brothers Beats blog is launching a Audio-logo competition (Or a jingle competition if you will) to help prevent the massive link stealing the site has been suffering.
4BB brings you the original and rare beats that most people don't even know where to begin looking for. To help them get the credit for their work they are starting this jingle competition...
"Yes, peeps...4BB needs your help! After some discussions we've decided to create our very own 4BB audio logotype! You might ask yourself "Why?"...well, one of the reasons is that this could help minimize the link thefts that we've been experiencing lately (we'll get to that in a bit) another reason is that it actually would be kinda cool to do some sonic branding!"

This summer we continue our quest to expose the art of DJing/Turntablism to a new generation! Our most recent show at Wheelz of Steel Weekend in Cleveland, Ohio was a lot fun. For those that came out to show their support to us, DJ Q-bert and the rest of the acts that shared their talents... THANK YOU!
If you haven't had the opportunity to watch us live or get to know what we're about, please check out the videos below...
